UPDATE: I-75 North reopens in Dayton following deadly 4-vehicle crash

Interstate 75 has reopened completely following a four-vehicle crash that killed a person near downtown Dayton Thursday morning.

The crash closed all I-75 northbound lanes and the left lane on I-75 South for around five hours. The area reopened around 4 p.m.

The crash was reported at I-75 North and U.S. 35 at 10:55 a.m. Two semi trucks, a work van and a work pickup truck were involved, according to Dayton police.

The department confirmed one person was killed in the crash.

The Dayton Police Department Traffic Services Unit is investigating.
